What consumes credits?
All AI-powered features consume credits equal to the duration of the audio or video being processed. This includes:
- Karaoke Maker
- Subtitle Extractor
- Subtitle Generator
- Lyrics Video Maker
- Caption Maker
- SRT Generator
- LRC Generator
- Lyrics Extractor
- Stem Splitter
- AI Music Generator
- Video export (MP4 / WebM)
Some tools cost more due to additional AI processing work:
- Vocal Remover — 2× the audio duration (runs a second AI pass to split lead vs. backing vocal)
- Video export (WebM Transparent) — 2× the video duration
- Video export (MOV ProRes Alpha) — 4× the video duration
Some features have a fixed credit cost regardless of audio length:
- Spotify Canvas — 40 credits per generation
- Animated Artworks — 80 credits per generation

When do credits expire?
Credits expire at the end of each billing cycle — unused credits do not roll over.
- Monthly plan: 500 credits reset every month on your renewal date. For example, if you subscribe on March 5, credits reset on April 5.
- Yearly plan: 6,000 credits are granted upfront and expire after 12 months on your renewal date. For example, subscribing on March 5, 2026 gives you credits until March 5, 2027.
- Free tier: 10 credits reset on the 1st of each month.
- Switching from monthly to yearly: your billing period restarts and unused monthly credits do not carry over — see below.
How do I upgrade from monthly to yearly?
If you're on the monthly plan, click Upgrade next to Billing on your Dashboard, or Switch to Yearly on the Pricing page. You'll be taken to Stripe's hosted billing portal to confirm the change.
- You're charged immediately for the price difference between your monthly and yearly plans — you don't have to wait for your next renewal date.
- The charge is the full price difference, not prorated by how many days are left in your current month.
- Your billing period restarts: the new yearly period starts on the day you switch, not on your old monthly renewal date.
- Credits reset rather than carry over: any unused credits from your monthly plan are not added on top — you start with the full 6,000 yearly credits from the day you switch.
- This is a one-way upgrade — switching from yearly back to monthly isn't available through the dashboard.
- All your projects remain exactly as they are — switching plans only affects billing and credits, not your saved projects.
What if I run out of credits before my plan renews?
If you're on a monthly or yearly subscription, click Add next to your Plan on the Dashboard to buy extra credits for the rest of your current billing period.
- Choose from fixed packs of 100, 200, 300, 400, or 500 extra credits.
- Priced at the same rate as your monthly plan — $1.80 for 100 credits, up to $9.00 for 500 credits.
- Purchased credits are added to your cap for the current billing period only and are paid for immediately via Stripe Checkout — they don't roll over once your plan renews.
- Only available to active subscribers — free tier and anonymous users still need to subscribe to a plan first.
Are there limits on a single file?
Yes — two, and they apply on every plan:
- Uploads: 500 MB per file.
- Exports: 20 minutes per video.
